The Plein Air Art Festival is a public event scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2014, along the eastern side of Seneca Lake.  Between 7am and 3pm, artists will be scheduled to create works of art at various wineries, including Atwater Vineyards, Damiani Wine Cellars, Leidenfrost Vineyards, Sheldrake Point Winery on Seneca, and local brewery, Two Goats Brewing.  A reception for the day’s plein air artwork will take place from 5pm until 10pm, and a silent auction will be held from 5pm until 7pm, both will be hosted at Damiani Wine Cellars, located in Burdett, New York.
Throughout the evening, local food will be available for purchase from Smoke on the Water, including meat and vegetarian BBQ dishes.  An eclectic assortment of wines and beers will be available to purchase by the glass from all participating wineries and breweries (Damiani Wine Cellars, Leidenfrost Vineyards, Sheldrake Point Winery on Seneca, and Two Goats Brewing).  Live music from local jazz band, Professor Tuesday’s Jazz Quartet, will kick-off Plein Air Festival’s evening activities, and will be followed-up by the Ithaca-based afro-funk band, Big Mean Sound Machine.

America’s Grape Country Wine Festival, is the largest state-wide wine festival in Western New York. We hope that you will join us in August 9th & 10th, 2014 to celebrate fun, food, lifestyle and of course… WINE!

We’ll kick off the festivities Friday, August 8th beginning at 6p.m. with a pre-festival Mardi Gras Party free for ticket holders and $5.00 for the general public!! Live music, food from Chef Paul Mach, wine, beer and more!

The 2014 Edition of the Festival will be the biggest ever! More vendors, more seminars and you are sure to be delighted with all that surrounds you. From our FREE Chef seminars pairing food, wine, appetizers on the Yancey’s Fancy NY Artisan Cheese Wine & Food Stage to The Festival Music Stage of music and our craft vendors, you’ll have a ball!
