More New York Gold (WP 10/22/16)

New York wines continue to rack up the Gold medals and other accolades around the country.

At the World Value Wine Challenge, Glenora 2015 Dry Riesling scored 92, with its 2015 Pinot Blanc rated 91; with Casa Larga Tramonto received 91 and its 2015 Chardonnay-Riesling a 90; scores of 90 also went to Black Willow Trilogy and Treleaven 2013 Gewurztraminer. All the New York wines were also "Best Buy".

The Tasters Guild Consumer Wine Judging yielded Double Gold medals for Belhurst 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon; Black Willow 2015 Diamond; Lakewood 2015 Riesling, and 2015 Glaciovinum. Gold medals went to Belhurst 2014 Cabernet Franc, Sparkling Isabella, and Ice Princess; Lakewood 2015 Vignoles; and Schulze 2014 Vidal Blanc.
