The Press Deck - 9/25/2019 | Field Notes: Best Wishes for Harvest Season!

Field Notes...

From Sam Filler, Executive Director

This brief but heartfelt note brings you our best wishes for a productive and happy start to the harvest season.
As you likely are, the staff and board members of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation are feeling the pace and intensity of work pick up a bit. As the Export Program kicks into gear, our membership campaign is in development, and webinars as well as exciting wine pairing dinners are happening statewide to celebrate our New York Wine Classic Winners. There is buzz about New York wines and we are here to keep it going!
We've also just completed two successful vineyard visits with our NY Drinks NY participants in the Long Island and Hudson Valley regions.
We hope you enjoy a few scenes from these excursions as you prepare for another successful harvest of your own.
Sam Filler with Phyllis Feder, owner of Clinton Vineyards and past Board Chair of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation.
Cheers to New York Wines and Vineyard Dogs at Whitecliff's Olana Vineyards.
Pristine vines soaking in the sunshine at Fjord Vineyards .
An apple a day... keeps you healthy so you can have more New York wine at Nostrano Vineyards.

Cheers,

Sam Filler, Executive Director
