The explosive growth of the New York grape and wine industry has created the need for well-trained employees in the vineyards, wine cellars, and markets. Fortunately, several educational institutions throughout New York State have created or expanded programs in these areas, including a four-year Viticulture & Enology program at Cornell University, complemented by several two-year programs at other colleges.
